\u200bThis is an interactive bilingual resource which promotes numerical reasoning for learners at progression steps 1 – 3 as they undertake the current programme of study for Mathematics and Numeracy as well as the new Mathematics and Numeracy Area of Learning and Experience.<\/p>\n

It provides a series of 18 activities.<\/p>\n

Each activity includes a “cap” to view the statements of what matters and the descriptions of learning which are specific to the activities. Developing the mathematical proficiencies, which are inter-related and inter-dependent are key to ensure progress and depth of understanding within Mathematics and Numeracy. The Curriculum for Wales guidance on the mathematical proficiencies is included at the beginning of each activity.<\/p>\n

The resource includes audio instructions which enables the questions to be read aloud to the learners.<\/p>\n

It can be used on a desktop PC \/ laptop \/ iPad or any other similar digital device.<\/span><\/p>\n

This resource has been commissioned by the Welsh Government.<\/p>\n
