Holocaust Memorial Day
This Holocaust Memorial Day marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. A day to remember all the categories of people who suffered Nazi persecution during the Second World War, as well as genocide cases in different parts of the world since then. The aim is to try to ensure that such atrocities do not happen again.

Corpus Christi (Christianity)
It falls 60 days after Easter. In the ancient world, it was customary to scatter flowers on the path of important people as a mark of respect and reverence, and this practice was adopted by the Church in honour of the Blessed Sacrament as it was carried in the procession on the day of the festival.
